In preparation and during installation, whether installing new windows and doors or replacing them, our team adheres to the best practices and standards in the industry. We follow all relevant provincial building codes. Should a permit be required, we will guide you through the process and ensure everything is in order. Not every installation requires a permit.
Safety
We make sure neither you, your property, or our installers are at risk by adhering to stringent safety protocols and procedures. In addition, the installation crew are covered by Workers' Compensation and every project carries liability insurance.
Before installation
You can request the pre-installation guide to be best prepared for the installation by sending an email to contact@windowsville.com. We will also send you a copy by email shortly before the installation. Windowsville installers will make sure your floors and the furniture will be protected.
Installation
Your windows and doors will be installed by the following standards:

- Windows and Doors shall be level, squared and plumbed to ensure uncompromised seal
- Pre-cut shims shall be used to level, preventing deflection, distortion, or rotation.
- Polyurethane insulation foam shall be used as air and thermal barrier
- At the end of the installation, sealants shall be added to the exterior to create the vapour and thermal barrier keeping moisture out and preventing air leakage/drafts
- No further work will be required on or around the installed windows and doors after the completion of the installation.
Post-Installation
Clean-up
Our crew shall remove all construction and installation-related debris to leave the site clean.
Post-installation Review
Before we leave the site, your chief installer will go over window(s) and/or door(s) operation to make sure you are satisfied with the work will be more than happy to answer any questions. It is at this time that the remaining balance for the project shall be collected (if applicable).
